We are an out-of-hospital midwifery practice offering home births, water births, doula support and well woman care.

Peace on earth begins with birth.

We provide comprehensive pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum care for mom and baby with a holistic approach. Ohana Midwifery and Wellness has two convenient office locations to serve you; one in South Lake Tahoe, CA and another in Reno, NV. Meet the founder

MISTY DAWN

After the birth of my son in 1997 and the nurturing relationship I built with my own midwife, I knew that more women needed to be given nature birth options and full spectrum support. At that moment I knew that birth was a natural, safe and a rite of passage into motherhood. Entering this time in my feeling strong, powerful and wise was a wonderful beginning into this new stage of being. At Ohana our mission is to bring that strength and support into your birthing experience as well.

Ohana joined Elevate Wellness Center in April 2015 and I couldn’t be happier to share my days with the amazing practitioners there.
